Compass Painting
I'm on the lookout for some used compasses. Gonna check out the local thrift stores. I think this will be a great project for the kids this summer. Bet they can come up with some other objects to paint with too!

I think my next big project is going to be our front door. It's a yucky pukey green right now and needs to be updated STAT! I've found a few really cool ideas through this link. I'm liking number spelled out above the door idea and the reddish purple door.

This week my husband bought a mini blender with the individual cups. While I'm looking forward to making some shakes or healthy smoothies rather than the nasty processed breakfasts I've had lately, I'm excited to try this Chocolate Cake for One which I found by searching for Bullet Recipes.
 
We all dread it, but what a fun way to get the rest of the school involved and build up the kids! Great idea to surprise students with on those dreaded standardized testing days! Would also be SOOO cool to have for first day of school, last day, etc!!!!!!!
With all the recent state testing going on, I found this idea and LOVED it! I plan to get up early on my daughters school testing days and doing this before they arrive. I think it will put a smile on their faces!
 
Post on a friend or neighbor's door and hide eggs, a great reminder of what Easter is all about! So cute!
Easter is coming! And this is a great way to get the kids involved and spread happiness. I plan to have our kids do this Saturday morning for some friends and family.
